Skoda Roomster is a leisure activity vehicle produced by Skoda Auto, the Czech manufacturer. The five door five seater model was shown firstin the Geneva Auto show in the year 2006. A 2-door two-seat van called Skoda Praktik was also introduced to the public in March 2007. Living upto its name Skoda roomster offers generous living room in the back and driving room in the front. Based on Volkswagen Group A4 (PQ34) the vehicle has a front engine and front wheel drive. The rear seats which are taller than the front seats can be folded into a non-conventional 40-20-40 configuration and the seats can be leaned to 7o inclination to the back or front. The rear seats can be completely removed and used as a flat surface for luggage.  Engines are Volkswagen group 4-strokes and petrol engines are multivalve 3-cylinder 1.2 litre to 1.9 litre and diesel engines 1.2 litre to 1.9 litre with optional 5 and 6 speed manual transmission and 6 speed tiptronic.
