Yamaha V-Max, which is even known as VMAX since the year 2008, is cruiser motorcycle which is manufactured by Yamaha since year 1985. It is known to be powerful V4 engine with shaft drive as well as the distinctive styling. However, V-Boost is the system which opens the butterfly valves in intake manifold in between first and second and also between third and forth cylinders which start from 5,750 rpm. Moreover, valves get opened step by step to match with rising speed of engine with the signal which is provided by ignition system. Moreover, valves are with full position at about 8,000 rpm. The small black box also send the computed signal for the servo motor which pulls wire to open butterfly valves. V-Boost system of Yamaha V adds about 10 percent to best power rating of base engine.
