The Volkswagen Fox is another city car produced by the Volkswagen (now in Brazil) and this car is sold in Latin America from the year 2003. It has been European countries as well from year 2005. It is available in two variants – 3-door hatchback and the 5-door hatchback variant. Another variant is also available known as CrossFox and it is a miniSUV. The car company also makes MPV known as Fox Plus.

In South American countries especially in Mexico, it is called by name Lupo after the name of President Vicente Fox. It has been discontinued from the year 2010 from Mexico owing to poor sales.

However, in Europe the car replaced the Lupo city car at a cheaper price. The Volkswagen Up has now replaced the car. It is based on the PQ24 platform from Volkswagen. It has also been launched in the year 2009 as Fox 2010 in Brazil and Argentina.
