Rover 200 series cars were produced under the British Rover marquee between 1984 and 2005. There were three different generations of the Rover 200 manufactured and the first one was a four-door saloon modeled on Honda Ballade. Later the model was converted into the Rover 25 when the Rover was sold in the year 2000. Now it belongs to Nanjing, the Chinese manufacturer. The rover has employed 'EV2' 71 PS (52 kW; 70 bhp) 1.3 litre 12 valve engine obtained from Honda Civic or BL's own S-Series engine in 1.6 litre format with 86 PS carburetor and 103 PS Lucas EFi format. Cars resulting from this configuration were labeled as Rover 213 and Rover 216. Rover 200 series were powered by either a Honda 3-speed manual gearbox or Honda 5-speed manual gearbox. Some models were inducted with German ZF 4-speed automatic. It is a compact model with engine fitted in the front and was powered by front wheel drive. R -> rover -> Modifications of Rover 200
