Opel senator was a full sized sedan car from German car making company Opel. It was sold in European countries in the year 1978 and the production ended in the year 1993. The car was available in two variants like Opel Monza. The full sized saloon design and sports coupe model was available. The car is also known as Vauxhall Senator, Chevrolet Senator and Daewoo Imperial in different geographies where it was sold. The second generation of the car was launched in the year 1987 and it had similar platform like Opel Omega whereas the Senator shared its platform with Opel Rekord.

There were various engine types and these could generate up to 178 BHP of power. There were 5-speed manual gearbox and 4-speed in the earlier versions. It could reach a speed of 215km/hr.
