Mercedes manufactures a series of commercial vehicles. One such popular commercial vehicle is the LP series. The LP series of commercial vehicles included an exceptionally designed powerful engine. The LP series has an extensive range of variants which were later unified across the world with the unique name “L series”. The vehicles only differed by the category of the cabin present above the engine. Since the year 1956, a frivolous 6.5-ton 145 HP models L / LP 329 were manufactured.

Mercedes, in the same year also manufactured the most powerful model L / LP 326 engine. The commercial vehicles equipped with this powerful engine had a powerful payload of 8, 6-9, 2 tons. All these vehicles were powered by the powerful diesel engine OM326 which generated a power of (10,809 cm3, 192-200 HP) with four overhead valves per cylinder. The Mercedes Benz LP had a fully synchronized transmission. It also had a pneumatic control with the easy power steering.
