LEXUS GS A LUXURY CAR FROM TOYOTA Toyota introduced its mid size model from its series, that was Lexus GS. In spite of being the part of Toyota’s luxury division, selling division was in the hands of Lexus. In Japan, it is sold as Toyota Aristo. The car belongs to S- series platform having four door sedan as its body style. The sales figure never remained constant for Lexus GS. It increased and decreased time to time. At the starting year, around 19000 cars were sold. But by coming in 1997, sales decreased to 7000. Then again the second model of Lexus GS increased the production rate but was failing to maintain consistency. Many models were introduced but no one was able to remain at the top level.
