Design and power · The wedge shaped design is the signature of Lamborghini Countach · The LP 400 (so it was known) had a 4liter V 12 engine producing over 375 hp evolved to have a 4.8 liter power pack with enhanced torque. · The LP 5000 of 1985 to 88 came with a power pack of 5.2 liter that produced 455 hp. · The most refined Lamborghini Countach though were those produced during 1988 to 1990 · The latest in the evolution was the fastest Lamborghini Countach ever built with 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds. The super car was designed by Lamborghini’s top designer Marcello Gandini. Lamborghini Countach saw production up to 1990 since no car was able to compete with its futuristic design for two decades.
