Hyundai Matrix was a multi-purpose MPV vehicle manufactured by Hyundai. It was also known as Lavita in some countries where it was sold. In Europe, it was mainly known as Matrix. The production of this car was started in 2001. It was categorized as a mini SUV. It has 5-door hatchback body type and front-engine, front –wheel-drive layout. In later years, Hyundai Matrix came in two varieties: Beta and U-Line. The hatchback was available in 1.5 L, 1.6 L and 1.8 L petrol.

The 1.8 L had a maximum speed of 183 km/h. It had good pickup. It could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 11.3 seconds.  This car was slightly related to the Hyundai Elantra. The approximate height of Hyndai Matrix was 1,684 mm. By 2010, production of this car was fully stopped and it was discontinued from the market. It was for sale in many countries like England, Australia, Malaysia and many others.
