The Honda Transalp XL650V has been providing yeoman service with honesty till its inception. The motorbike was rejuvenated with a bigger engine and a face lift in the year 2000. The bike has a great following due to its easy to operate maneuvers and the soft chuffing charm. Weight a hefty 191kg the bike must be hard to haul but the Carb –fed SOHC V-Twin of Honda Transalp makes it a cake walk and  in a calm manner. Though it is not comfortable at speeds exceeding 100 mph mark it can work up to 90 per hour without straining itself.  One would find the set up no different from other of its kind the bike performs well. You can ride on dirt and tarmac without hassle and can easily handle a pillion rider. The only weak link is the breaks that prevent you from using the bikes potential to its full.
