The idea Honda C was first born in 1956 when demand for light weight mopeds was much higher than sports bikes. The Super Cubs of Honda was first compared to the mopeds designed and manufactured by Ford Company, although, Honda having been known for their durability, Honda C gained immense popularity since from the inception of the idea. They have produced and sold more than 60 millions mopeds of Honda C from 1958 to 2008.
