Ford Edge

Revealed at the Detroit North American international auto show held in January 2006, Ford Edge entered market by October. The vehicle captured the reviewer’s attention with its fuel economy and engine prowess.

Ford Edge has three variants

·            SE: 3.5 liter V 6 engine, cloth trimmed seats and single zone manual air conditioning

·            SEL: dual zone electronic automatic temperature controls, Steering wheels with leather wrappings and shift knob

·            Limited: heated Seats with leather trimmings

Power Pack

The Ford Edge offers four engines

·            3.5liter, 285hp V-6

·            2.0 liter, 240hp  l-4 and

·            3.7liter, 305hp, V-6

The transmissions are 6 speed automatic w/OD and auto manual for the first two models and the 6 speed automatic w/OD for the highest model. What’s most impressive about Ford Edge is its optional four cylinder ecoboost turbo engine that balances power with fuel efficiency combining turbo charging and fuel injection technologies.
