Daihatsu YRV is somewhat smaller multipurpose vehicle from the Japanese automobile manufacturing company Daihatsu. The YRV in the car name stands for Young recreational vehicle. The car was specially designed for the women looking for spacious yet smaller car option to carry their children around the city and yet easy-to-park vehicle. The car has been under criticism from the reviewers for remote steering.  There are five engine variants available in this car namely EJ-VE, k3-VE2, VE, VET and VETR.

There is feature of all wheel drive called 4trak by the company but it is available with K3VE version only whereas other variants feature the usual 2 wheel drive. The car owner can fold the rear seats for creating more space for the luggage. The car has option foe variant with 4-speed automatic gear transmission.
