Austin Westminster was for the estate people and these were large cars sold by the British Austin Motor Company in 1954. There was series of saloon cars starting from A90, A95, A105, and A110 until 1968. The car used the BMC C-series straight 6 engine that was 2.6L and generated an 85 BHP. It could even adjust three people on the front seat, as there were foldable armrests on each side of the seat. There were central armrests on the rear seats as well. The handbrakes and the gear change lever were on the right side of the steering wheel.
In 1955, the car could reach the 0 to 60 MPH in 18.9 seconds and recorded a fuel consumption of 14liters per 100 kilometers. Cost of the car was 834 great British pounds then. This car very popular until 1968 when it was replaced by a 3L engine.
